Schedule an appointment via OpenAcu
Be sure to review our Clinic Policies in regards to rescheduling and cancellation. We do not have a receptionist and generally are not able to respond to communications during treatment hours. Any inquiries will be returned outside of treatment hours.
Save your confirmation e-mail. It has the door code to enter. This is to prevent non-patients from wandering in and pulling away the attention of our acupuncturist from patients.
If it is your first appointment, please arrive 10 minutes before your scheduled time to complete paper forms at the clinic. Otherwise, please arrive on time. If you are more than 20 minutes late, we can only accommodate you if there is excess space in the schedule. Unless there are available chairs, we will not be able to accommodate early arrivals as we often need to wake up other patients in order for you to have a seat.
Day-of walk in:
In the area? Try your luck and drop by for a treatment! Open hours here. We prioritize people who have pre-scheduled standing appointments. Thank you for understanding!
The door is protected by a pin code and we do not have a receptionist. Please be patient and we welcome you in when we are available.

For New Patients
First Visit Treatment Flow
Before or upon arriving to the clinic, please turn off or silence your cell phone.
Pay for your treatment by following the instructions at the self-check in at the front desk.
There is a wake-up board. If you have time restrictions, write your name and the time you would like to leave by.
Use the restroom if needed, before sitting down.
Pick a chair.. if you don't like it, try another one!
Store your belongings in the bin beside your chair. Your acupuncturist will be moving around the chair and we do not want to step on anything precious.
Take off your hat, shoes and socks, roll up your sleeves to the elbows and pant legs to the knees, or leave your clothing as you are most comfortable. Those who wish to stay fully covered for religious or personal reasons are welcome. We will always ask before moving your clothing.
Use the handle or lever on the side of your chair to kick back and get comfortable. If you are most comfortable sitting straight upright, that is also OK.
Once you are settled in your chair we will chat about any concerns you mentioned in your forms, discuss a treatment plan for visit frequency, then administer the pins.
Once your needles are placed, we leave you to rest so they can do their work. Most people rest for 25 – 90 minutes (45-60 is average). If you need an extra blanket or are ready to get up, give us a "check, please!" look, nod, or wave, as we are walking through the clinic and we will attend to you. If your eyes are closed we will not approach you unless you have a time written on the wake-up board.
Please do not get up with needles in. If you need to get up, we will need to take them out- at which point your treatment is over.
Please allow at least 1 hour for your appointment from start to finish.
Friendly Guidelines for new patients
Don't get poked on a completely empty stomach! If you are able to eat before arriving, that is advised.
Caffeine ingested less than 3 hours before treatment can sensitize your nerves and make your body more sensitive to needling sensations.
We mask and encourage you to wear a mask.
Please be aware that we keep prices low by offering a group setting. That means there will be people around you and the possibility of noises that humans make including but not limited to snoring, coughing, sneezing, crying, sniffling, burping, farting, talking, footsteps, rolling wheels, crinkling, the door opening and shutting, toilet flushing, and sighing. There is also possibility of noises outside of our control including but not limited to general street noise, honking, bonking, sirens, yelling, and music. If this is disruptive to your experience, you are welcome to bring headphones or ear plugs to decrease ambient noises.
Please wear what you are comfortable in. We never needle through fabric. Because of this, you will be asked to remove your socks, shoes, hats, as well as roll up your sleeves and pant legs. If you prefer not to move or remove garments for ANY reason that is OK! We can still give you a great treatment using your hands, face, feet, scalp, and/or ears. There are tons of ways to treat all conditions. We will figure it out, together.
